The Clubhouse

The Lockhart Flying Club Clubhouse is attached to one of the hangars at Lockhart Municipal Airport, making it the perfect gathering spot for members. Whether you're stopping by for a social event, planning your next cross-country, or catching up with fellow pilots after a flight, this is your home base.

The space is comfortable and well-equipped — featuring relaxed seating and, critically for those long Texas summers, full air conditioning. It's a welcoming environment that reflects the spirit of the club: a place where pilots of all experience levels can connect, share stories, and inspire one another.

For student pilots, the Clubhouse is the ideal meeting point with club-approved instructors. Review weather and charts before a lesson, then settle in for a thorough debrief afterward without the noise and distraction of the flight line. The calm, focused setting makes it easy to absorb what you've learned and plan your next steps.

Experienced pilots will find it equally useful. It's a great place to plan a fly-out, coordinate with other members, or simply unwind and talk aviation over a cup of coffee.

The newest addition to the Clubhouse is a full flight simulator — available to all members at no additional cost.
